What exactly is a flip classroom?
The
flip classroom teaching method is becoming increasingly popular around the
world. According to a National Center for Education Statistics report, over 30
countries use the flip classroom teaching method in some form.
It
is an instructional strategy and type of blended learning that flips the
traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content outside of
the classroom, frequently online. Rather than introducing new concepts in class
and then assigning homework, the teacher assigns learning activities as
homework and uses class time to work through activities and problems.
